Support for your recovery

Recovery communities and support groups to support your recovery from drugs and alcohol.

  • Better Lives can give support with aftercare and recovery. Activities on site include: women's afternoons, gardening groups, photography groups, art therapy, alternative therapies and recovery support.
  • Eagles Recovery Project is a lived experience recovery organisation in Islington that offers activities and social groups.
  • Mutual aid groups are communities where people voluntarily come together to help each other. They include Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous and are based on 12-step principles.
  • Way Forward is a peer support programme in Islington with a range of online groups and activities throughout the week, and in-person groups and activities at the weekend. These range from active, creative and reflective opportunities alongside day-trips.
