You can use this form to request a non-emergency repair in your own home if you are an Islington Council tenant and you’ve lived in your home for more than eight weeks.
You will need:
- Your postcode
- Your rent account number (where to find this)
Track your repair
To track the progress of your repairs, log into My Islington and go to your housing account.
Tracking updates
Localz (or Track My Operative) gives you updates on your repair as they happen such as when your repair person will arrive or where they are now and you can message them if there's an update or a problem.
To use Localz, you’ll need to:
- give a mobile number when you report a repair
- have a smartphone with internet access
On the day of your repair, you may get a text message with a link that will track when the repair person is going to arrive. The link is safe to click. It will look a bit like this: https://s.localz.io /Islington/tmz1wd.
After the appointment, you can give your feedback in a survey to help us improve our service.
You can’t request a repair online if
- the repair is an emergency (a danger to health or safety)
- the problem is in a communal area of the building
or if you are
- a Housing Association tenant - in this case you should contact your association directly
- a PFI (Partners for Islington) tenant or TMO (Tenancy Management Organisation) tenant
- in temporary accommodation
- a tenant in an Islington Council property that is still under warranty, because you moved in within the last eight weeks. In this case, you should contact Housing Services.
