Some online services unavailable on Saturday 23 November and Monday 25 November

Due to essential maintenance some of our online services will be unavailable over the next few days.

  • On Saturday 23 November between 9am–5pm you will be unable to view your council tax, council tax support and housing benefits accounts or documents while we upgrade our systems.
  • On Monday 25 November between 6–11pm our online parking services will be unavailable. During this time, you won’t be able to review or pay for parking tickets or buy parking permits or visitor vouchers.

Parking for disabled people and the Blue Badge scheme

Free resident permits for Blue Badge holders

The Free Resident Parking permit is a residential parking permit offered without charge to Blue Badge holders. We offer this permit as a substitute to the Blue Badge to help prevent the theft of Blue Badge theft.

Blue Badge holders that reside within the London Borough of Islington are entitled to apply for a Free Resident Parking Permit. The Blue Badge holder will be eligible for a permit only if the nominated vehicle is their main mode of transport, and can provide evidence to prove the vehicle is registered to their home address.
