Missing Child Adolescent Exploitation

The responsibilities of the sub-group are to:

• reduce the risk of children going missing or being criminally exploited.
• improve intervention and diversionary activity for those who go missing, and offend whilst missing, or who are at increased risk of criminal exploitation.
• identify perpetrators who assist children going missing, or aide in their criminal exploitation, and disrupt/prevent their activity.
• build a problem profile for both missing children and the criminal exploitation of children/adolescents in Islington.
• identify and disrupt Peer-on-Peer abuse in Islington.
• use trauma informed approaches to problem solve in these areas and safeguard vulnerable children and adolescents from harm.
