We are delighted to introduce our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Arrangements for 2024-2026. This document is the cornerstone of our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of every child in Islington.

Our safeguarding arrangements are built on a foundation of collaboration and shared responsibility. We have drawn from the expertise and dedication of various agencies, including local authorities, health services, law enforcement, and community organisations. This comprehensive approach ensures that we address the diverse needs of children and families in our community.

Our framework is aligned with the latest Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023 guidance, which emphasises strengthening multi-agency cooperation, maintaining a child-centred approach, and embedding effective child protection practices across the whole Partnership

When you read our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Arrangements, you will find a detailed framework that outlines our strategic objectives, priorities, and the roles of different partners. Our arrangements set out the roles and oversight responsibilities of key partners to ensure a robust safeguarding system.

We have structured the document to be informative, providing clear guidance on how we work together to protect Islington’s children, it is to be read alongside our Partnership Plan.

We invite you to explore this document and join us in our mission to make Islington a place where every child can thrive.
