What ‘Our Family Journey’ looks like

If a family has additional needs, then the professional network need to initiate Early Help.

Our Family Journey is part of this response, as it helps gather information about a family's situation and relationship with their wider networks. It has five steps:

  • Identify the family’s needs with the family’s input
  • Understand their situation and wider context
  • Decide on the best support plan with the family
  • Implement the plan
  • Review how things are going and adjust if needed
